The Olympic beach volleyball stadium built in front of the Eiffel Tower is captivating fans the most.

The Olympic beach volleyball venue has become the biggest attraction not just for players and fans of the sport, but for everyone else as well.

The beach volleyball stadium, located right next to the Eiffel Tower in the Champ de Mars, is named the Eiffel Tower Stadium. It is one of the most captivating venues of the Games. Olympic medalist Cherif Younousse from Qatar remarked, "I don’t know who chose this place for the beach volleyball event. Whoever made this decision deserves a medal too.” He added, “While practicing on the side court, it felt like we were playing under the Eiffel Tower. We couldn’t even imagine playing beach volleyball here.”

The stadium has a capacity of 12,860 spectators. The crowd enjoys the matches while dancing to music played by a DJ. The venue has also attracted numerous celebrities, heads of state, and members of royal families.

Canadian star player Brandi Wilkerson noted that even before the competition started, many athletes in the Olympic village were talking so much about the beach volleyball venue that there was no room for debate. She said, “Yes, our venue is the best. I have nothing more to say.” Beach volleyball was added to the Olympic program in 1996 and has quickly become one of the most popular sports of the Summer Games.
